Refurbishment & Reconstruction of Ministry of Defense Head Quarters (Doha Fort)
The significance of the fort lies in its historical role as a defense headquarters, dating back to the 1950s when it served as barracks and marching grounds. Over the years, the fort has undergone numerous changes, with buildings being added or demolished, altering its urban composition to meet evolving needs. The particular scope of the project encompasses 18 components/buildings.
My duties
Preparation of Bills of Quantities.
Coordinating with the Design Team to prepare and update the BOQ at each design stage.
Preparation of Engineer’s Estimates.
Preparation of Tender Documents.
Responding to Contractors’ Queries during the tender phase.
Supporting the preparation of the Tender Evaluation Report for senior management.
