Design & Build of Al Shyoukh Port Phase 2

Shyouk Port stands as one of the oldest facilities in Doha, serving as an integral part of the city’s history. This artificial peninsula is strategically located, seamlessly connected to the main road and the seaside promenade at Al Corniche. Situated in close proximity to the Museum of Islamic Art and the Amiri Diwan, it holds a prime position.

The scope of the project involves enhancing finishes and creating a multifunctional landscape scheme. This scheme aims to facilitate efficient and functional use of the port while transforming it into a welcoming Metropolitan Park for the general public. This transformation is complemented by a recently built restaurant and a new substation.

The project encompasses various elements, including roads, parking facilities, line marking, signage, landscape and hardscape development, planting, and irrigation. Notable features include a restaurant terrace, green multisue recreation areas, DOW Port facilities, Banana Island Dock, Main Front Promenade, and Storm Water management.
